How to Preserve Swimwear and Bikinis for years to come

1 - Always rinse it after use.

We've all done that thing where we come home after a day at the beach or pool and just hang up the bikini: WRONG. Before doing so, soak the swimsuit in cold water, rinse it, wring it out well and remove all the salt and chlorine because otherwise, over time, the fabric will eventually fade. Nobody wants to wear a green swimsuit because of chlorine!!!

2 - Wash it in cold water.

Very hot water will damage the fabric and can even fade and stretch it. So washing it in cold water is the best way to keep the color and design intact. Also, try to use a liquid soap powder detergent hardens the fabric. And don't forget to untie all the knots of the bikinis. It's best to wash them by hand, but if you're one of those lazy ones, just put them in a net bag Never put them in the dryer!

3 - Dry it without exposing it to direct sunlight for many hours.

What happens when you are in the sun for long hours? Well, the same thing happens to our bikinis, they end up burning. Put them to dry in a place where it does not give direct light or at least do not expose them during the hottest hours of the day. This way you will avoid the rubber bands to burn and the color to lose intensity. 🔝Another trick is to ddry them upside down.i.e. with the lining facing outwards so that the fabric does not deteriorate.

4 - Never store in a plastic bag, especially if it is wet.

If you do not want your bikini to smell musty and fungus to appear, store it in a plastic bag. completely dry in an airtight bagpreferably made of fabric. Many times we usually put the bikini in a plastic bag when we finish the beach or pool session and, without going home, we change clothes to go out with friends, eat, walk and leave the bikini for hours in the bag wet. So before doing so, make sure your swimsuit is dry🥵.

5- When the summer is over, store it in a cloth bag for next year.

At the end of the season, before storing your bikinis, wash them. without fabric softener and with lukewarm water. Let them dry thoroughly and store them in a small cloth bag, preferably made of individually to prevent the fabrics of some bikinis from sticking to others, especially if you live in a very hot area.

👉🏼 Finally, remember that the quality of the bikini itself also influences its duration, so we always recommend investing a little more in quality bikinis and always support the production Made in Spain. It is worth investing in a bikini like this and if you take good care of it, it will last for years!
