Where are the garments made of THE-ARE?

We are very proud to be able to design, develop and manufacture all our garments in our workshop in Valencia, Spain. The city where we were born. From here we also prepare the packages and send them all over the world!

All our designs start from scratch: an idea. The garments are inspired by you, by you. When designing our clothes we think about what you are going to do, where you are going to go, how you are going to have fun, fall in love... and we make the clothes so that you always wear the latest trends, comfortable and beautiful!

Can I find THE-ARE in a physical store?

Yes!! We are very excited to open our first store in Valencia at C/Grabador Esteve, 9 (1 minute from Calle Colón in Valencia).

On May 17, 2018 we opened our Madrid store, in C/Hermosilla, 32 (in the Salamanca neighborhood).

As you keep asking us if we will open in more cities you encourage us more and more to do so. We ask you to be patient because we hope to do it soon. We are already thinking about what will be the next opening!

In which countries can you buy online?

All orders are shipped from our workshop in Valencia, Spain. Our main destinations are Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany and UK. But you can order THE-ARE from anywhere in the world.

*For shipments from outside the European Union, we do not pay customs duties, tariffs, or any other taxes. These must be paid by the final customer. If the order is returned to us for not having been accepted, we will deduct the charge from the return of the package.

The shipping cost is calculated once you are placing the order and you have indicated the place where to receive the products.

*For shipments outside the European Union, we are not responsible for the payment of customs duties, tariffs, or any other taxes. These must be paid by the final customer. If the order is returned to us because we have not accepted it, we will deduct the charge from the return of the package.

In how many languages can I navigate?

The navigation languages of THE-ARE.com are: Spanish and English. We will be adding more languages as we grow. We are currently working on translating our store into French and Italian.

In which languages can I request customer service?

Currently, our customer service covers the following languages: Spanish, English, French and Italian.

Are the prices of the online store and the physical points of sale the same?

Yes, but if there is any difference between the prices shown on the Web, and those marked on the labels of the garments, the correct price will always be the one on the labels.

Can I make an exchange or a return of an online order?

Can I make an exchange or a return in store of an order I have purchased online?

Yes, you will have to indicate in the store your name and surname and show the email confirmation of the purchase where the order number will appear.

Will we restock items marked "out of stock"?

If an item is out of stock, you can ask us to let you know when it will be restocked. It's very easy: just leave your email in the box that says "OUT OF STOCK! Do you want to be notified?", inside the product you want. And then when it is available again, we will send you an e-mail to let you know. If we were not going to produce more, we would remove it from the web.

Will I receive the same product I see in the picture?

Yes, except for those products with handmade processes in which there could be a slight difference in the finish.

Is it possible to receive periodical information in my e-mail with the latest news and offers from THE-ARE?

Yes, you just have to subscribe to the "NEWSLETTER" of THE-ARE by filling out the form at the bottom of every page or by clicking on the tab on the left of this page (THE-ARE NEWS JOIN US?) and you will receive information about the latest news, special discounts, editorials and events from THE-ARE.

Can I unsubscribe from the THE-ARE?

Yes, you can unsubscribe by clicking on the link at the end of each Newsletter, then enter your e-mail address and click on "UNSUBSCRIBE".

*Please note that the Newsletter unsubscription process may take up to 48 hours after the request.

How do I recover my forgotten password?

If you have forgotten your password, you can recover it in the section My account > Forgotten your password? Fill in the fields and you will receive a new password.

How can I be sure that I have made a successful purchase?

Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email. If you don't receive it, please check your spam folder. If you don't find it in your spam folder, please contact us through our online chat, by email at contact@THE-ARE.com or by phone +34 684 251 093 (Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 18:00).

Can I know the status of my order?

Yes, go to the "Orders placed" section of "Your Account" and you will be able to see the status of your order in real time.

If you have placed the order as a guest, you can check the status of your order and manage it from the confirmation email.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, you can cancel your order by contacting our Customer Service department by chat, by email or by phone.contact@THE-ARE.comor by calling +34 684 251 093 (Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 18:00) as long as the preparation process has not started or has already left our facilities.

You will have to tell us the name and surname from which the order was placed, e-mail, order number and the reason why you want to cancel the order.

What should I do if I receive a defective item?

THE-ARE.com only sells items in perfect condition, so if exceptionally, you receive a garment with a defect, please contact our Customer Service department by chat, by email contact@THE-ARE.com or by calling +34 684 251 093 (Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 18:00) to offer you the best solution.

What should I do if I receive an incorrect item?

If on any occasion, by mistake, you receive an item that you have not ordered, we will solve it quickly. Please contact our Customer Service department by chat, by email contact@THE-ARE.com or by calling +34 684 251 093 (Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 18:00), so we can show you the steps.

Is my personal information confidential?

All the information you share with us is kept private and confidential with THE-ARE for the development, fulfillment and execution of the purchase contract, to attend your requests and to provide you with information about the products. See all the details in our Privacy Policy.

Do I have to register to buy online?

At the-are.com it is possible to make a purchase through the web as a guest, without the need to create a user account in the online store.

From the-are.com we recommend you to have a user account, since it will facilitate the purchase by being able to save a book of preferred addresses, you will have a history of your orders, returns and invoices, as well as being able to track your orders in real time.
